Priorities can of course change depending on the content being done by the player. You should note that when you upgrade weapons, you can sell the weapon being upgraded to deduct cost from the new weapon.
If an item is not in the order it was deemed not worth buying.
As prices change, updates occur, and knowledge expands, the order is subject to change at any time.
Feel free to ask in #pvm-help for a tailored list for the content that you do!
Early Money Making
To make money to fund your first style early on, it is recommended to do either Croesus or easy clue scrolls.
Necromancy Specific Upgrades
Necromancy hosts a few upgrade paths which are not purchaseable, but impact how fast you will progress.
Kili's Tasks
Upon reaching level 70 you have the option to choose your path between power and tank armour. Completing either branch allows you to create the weaponry.
⬥ For less experienced players it is suggested to take the tank armour path.
• These tasks are easier albeit more time consuming, and will make obtaining T90 weapons easier.
⬥ Upgrading your armour is generally at a cost of delaying purchasing The First Necromancer armour
Nexuses
Nexuses are items used in Necromancy that can store ectoplasm and necrotic runes , similar to rune pouches for Magic. However, unlike the pouch, a nexus can hold up to a maximum stack (2,147,483,647) of each necrotic rune. They can be worn in the ammunition slot.
The unattuned deathwarden nexus is crafted using the soul forge within the City of Um in the tier 60 section, requiring an ensouled bar, a silver bar and a cut sapphire. Before the deathwarden nexus can be used to store ectoplasm and necrotic runes, it must be attuned at the dark portal located in the City of Um.
A superior nexus, Zemouregal's nexus , has an additional passive effect that increases the level of Bone Shield by 15 levels. It is obtained by killing 100 Vorkath.
Necromancy Upgrade Order
This is a generalised order which assumes a starting point of T60 weapons and armour.
For further information on each upgrade check the relevant section in #armour-and-weapons, #perks and #perk-information, #permanent-unlocks, or #eof-specs.
