Camel Warriors
Introduction
Camel Warriors are one of the 4 Raptor Mobs, generally killed for the collection log. As such, they should only be killed on task where they are 5x more likely to drop the
⬥ Camel warriors have one main mechanic - After taking some damage, they split into 3 mirages - Blood, Smoke and Shadow. Each has their own unique abilities. All attack with magic.
• Shadow mirages - Drains points after charging their overhead bar.
• Blood mirages - Heal other mirages for ~900 HP per attack.
• Smoke mirages - Cast the Confuse, Weaken and Snare spells on the player, reducing hitchance and damage by 5%, and freezing you in place for 10s respectively.
⬩ After the mirages have been killed, the camel warrior re-appears with the HP it had before phasing, and can now be finished off.
⬥ Mirages can be bypassed by dealing a singular hit of more than 20,125 damage, before hitcaps apply.
• For example, if is used on task in with 120 , it will be capped at 15K, but in theory it would've dealt 30K damage, so the camel will not be phased. This will then allow the player to finish off the camel by dealing the remaining 5125 damage in 1 hit.
• If the player fails to deal 5125 damage in the next hit, the camel will phase into mirages. This is why perks such as crackling and aftershock should be avoided when relying on methods that skip the mirage mechanic.
⬥ All methods suggested below use tricks that bypass the mechanic entirely, as it is very time consuming and detrimental to kph to kill Camel warriors "normally".

Location and How to Get There
⬥ They can be found on the island east of Sophanem, which is accessed via stepping stones (no level needed) near a group of crocodiles. The area is affected by desert heat.
• The quickest way to get there is via travelling south from Pharaoh's sceptre/Sceptre of the Gods option 2 followed by
• Alternatively, one can go via a gate in the eastern wall of Sophanem that allows access from the city.
Method: Active Melee [PoSD]
The fastest way to kill camels relies on doing trips to a player owned dungeon with 3-4 camel warriors, using and trying to kill as many camels as possible within the duration while skipping the mirage mechanic. It also requires essentially best in slot melee gear to be as consistent as possible.
⬥ 2023-AUG-29 - IMPORTANT NOTE
• After changes which made the enhanced variant not reset-able with the War's Retreat crystal, this method is significantly worse and will not be able to achieve the advertised kph. However, it is likely still better than methods which involves dealing with camel spawns.
Presets and Relics
Strategy
⬥ Ensure your familiar combat setting is on Passive.
⬥ Occasionally, the camel will not phase despite hitting for significantly less than 20,000. When this happens, use a 188 to guarantee the kill on the camel. or may not deal sufficient raw damage to finish the camel off.
-
Use at War's Retreat with equipped + Kalg spec
-
Swap to and get back 90% or more adrenaline before teleporting to the Menaphos house portal.
a. Use a Menaphos tablet or the House teleport spell if your house is attuned to Menaphos.
b. You can activate from action bar without interrupting adren gaining if not on full HP.
-
Travel to the sunken pyramid with Kags (option 1).
-
Enter the dungeon using right click. You should fall out of combat and Persistent Rage should start topping your adrenaline off until 120% around this time.
-
Do a → walk diagonal → + to get to whichever large dungeon hosts your camels (diagram below).
- as you enter the dungeon and turn on
Step 1 - 6 demonstration: https://youtu.be/ZOVInSkksNI
Camel 1: Target closest Camel → → + spot where it spawns. If enhanced is on cooldown, use defensive basics for adrenaline until you can
Camel 2: Walk next to spawn + (tc) + + basic
Camel 3 onwards: (tc) + → basic
⬥ Sometimes or will crit and kill the camel on its own, and you will not need to use a basic after.
⬥ Cycle basics in the order → → →
• The after a guarantees a kill.
• The after a crit guarantees kill.
⬥ In an ideal run, you should be able to get 7-8 camel KC.
• If you get a and lucky crits, a 9 kill run is possible.
⬥ When you fail a skip, use (tc) + to avoid getting rooted and try to spend as much of your adrenaline as possible on other spawns before teleporting out.
⬥ If you run out of adrenaline and still have time on , use (tc) + defensive basics until you have enough adrenaline for another (22.5%)
⬥ Turn off when finishing up a trip to preserve charges.

Method: AFK Cannon
This method involves not engaging in combat with the Camel Warriors at all, relying on cannon and poison damage which passively kill the Camel Warriors without triggering their mirage mechanic.
Presets and Relics
Strategy
⬥ Place the in the Camel Warrior island, while staying in the tiny island before the stepping stone, as shown below:
⬥ Players can do other activities in the meantime (e.g. Fletching ).
⬥ To avoid being attacked by camels, players should bring runes for Telekinetic Grab to collect the drops along with using a legendary pet with the "Scavenge" perk active.
• Do NOT call your pet as it will end up being on the same small island as you, and will not able to access the drops.
