Introduction

Marks of War are an essential resource needed to PvM effectively, as they allow you to reset your auras. Auras provide various benefits which range from increasing your damage output, to increasing your survivability. Obtaining Marks of War is time-gated, as you're limited to 1000 marks per hour. This guide focuses on the fastest AFK method to reach this cap. For convenience, this method does not require the usage of auras.

⬥ Commonly used auras in PvM include: Berserk , Maniacal , Reckless , Penance , and Vampyrism

⬥ In order to reach the cap of Marks of War , 5 normal mode Kerapac kills are required; with each kill giving 200 marks

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• This takes around 13 minutes, 1:55 per kill + ~30s respawn

⬥ You can opt to not loot, and only click to prevent yourself from lobbying

⬥ Bow of the Last Guardian     • Must be perked with Caroming 4 ⬥ The following perks are recommended:     • Lucky 6     • Absorbative 4     • Crystal Shield 4 ⬥ Scripture of Wen ⬥ Bik arrows ⬥ Igneous Kal-Xil or Igneous Kal-Zuk

⬥ Animate Dead (if using Cryptbloom boots ) ⬥ Blood reaver     • Does not require scrolls , but using them is safer     • If using scrolls , set your auto fire rate to 20 ⬥ Bonfire Boost and Ogre flask (thermal) ⬥ Enriched pontifex shadow ring passive is unlocked ⬥ Pray Desolation and Soul Split

Positioning

⬥ It is recommended to start the first kill in melee distance of Kerapac as shown in the diagram above

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎• This will force your character to auto-retaliate faster, causing the rotation to perform as planned

⬥ If using this method to farm more than 5 kills, it is recommended to not use lantadyme incense sticks , as this will allow your overload salve to refresh your prayer points faster
